Khazaar, please tell me why things need to be grouped by sector, if it can be done similarly if grouped by system?
You are just adding a layer that doesn't need to be added. There is no advantage in having a systems in sectors.

Khazaar, I have some more planets that you either missed or left out that are at least slightly more important than some on your list. Did you want me to PM or post the list. It's like another hundred planets.
(I went through all the planets in the CUSWE )

I´m hoping you´re talking planets not systems Anyway I´ve worked with the map from nav-computer.com. We´re talking systems here, and not individual planets.
And also remember, we want to write our own history not have every system where something from some book or another happened.
The grand idea behind all this was to simpify things, my map already has a overwhelming collection of Systems (200 to be precise). I´m not calling a monopoly on this mapmaking, but let me tell you, it´s more work than it looks like.
The grand goal would be an excelsheet (or htmlsheet) that can keep track of fleets and garrisons so that the fractions could launch missions agains specific systems and the mods would know what´s on that planet.
"I have a dream!"
Ex. The bothan spies of the rebellion have picked up talk about a Imperial superproject, data indicates that something is happening on the far out system of Endor. The rebel fraction decides to investigate and sends a corellian freighter with some pc´s. The Pc´s contact their mod and he checks the datasheet and sees that there is a secret cloning facility protected by a stormtrooper garrison in that system. The scenario can begin.
Anyway, if you´re up to the task build one yourself. If it´s better we´ll use yours no hard feelings.
