What's up? I'm Gatin Vos, although that's not my real name. Or is it? Anyways I just turned 20 and began rping in 6th grade. Although by the time I got to 7th, I had taken a hiatus from it just until recently in the spring. I started RPing on AOL in the wrestling RP's. I am also RPing in the RPF forums on TheForce.net where my user name is Slumvillage.
Im from Detroit, MI and also like to play sports. Football, basketball most of the time and I frequent the gym to lift weights in my spare time. Just some things that I like to do. along with Star Wars which is why I came here when I found this web site first over the summer.
If you ever want to ask me something or talk to me, just send me a PM or email me at Liquidswords3000@yahoo.com.
peace. |

Well I first got into Star Wars gaming with the Combine about 2.5-3 years ago and I'm still there now. As far as RPing I have tried a couple of others before I found SWS. I thought it might be the same, "I'll join and try to get something going but I doubt it will last". I was wrong and what scenarios I've done have been pretty fun so far. I doubt I'll be going anywhere for a long time. |

9 Mile Road and Van Dyke was my basic area. I was literally a stone's throw away from Lincoln Senior High School at Nine and Federal. |

Nope. I left Michigan back in July of 1989, after I graduated high school. I now live near this place: http://www.martinsvillespeedway.com/ |

I return to Michigan from time to time. I still have family and friends who live there. As for Virginia, I spent half of my life here, even when I was living in Warren. My grandparents moved back here from Warren when I was a baby. Michigan is great to visit, but I couldn't live there full time again. I can't handle the cold anymore. My asthma gives me a hard enough time as it is in the winter living where I do now. |

I used to have asthma but playing sports really paid off and I either ran out of it or grew out of it. I'm extremely lucky to not have those problems anymore.
It is said that exercise is the best thing for asthma, although in moderation when your just starting out but if you keep at it, soon the problems would detirerate(sp?)
anyways, I'm happy to see you like VA. The Cold up here stinks, it's been the worst december in a long time and right now it's snowing! I hate the snow! driving through it, shoveling it! It is frustrating. Spun out three times already because of the snow. Im lucky that i didn't get hurt or my car get messed up. I need a new car or a truck with 4wd. |

Snow? You're lucky. I would rather have snow than ice any day. Not many people in my area even know how to drive in snow, much less deal with ice. It doesn't help that where I live happens to be the upper foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, so it's rather dangerous on the roads with the kiss your butt curves, and steep drop offs.
As for my asthma, I didn't have asthma as a child. I was almost 19 when I was diagnosed as an asthmatic. I'm still active though. I go hiking, and roller skating as I can. And after the begining of the year, I'll be buying a fishing licence and doing some fishing once the weather gets warm. I'll also be doing a lot of camping as well. It helps to have a son who's a Cub Scout. |

I would rather the snow than the ice we're currently getting here.
I love the mountains. It's beautiful here. The air quality tends to be better as well. There are advantages to living in a big city, because there is always something to do. Here, I have to drive at least 30 minutes to an hour to reach something that takes you maybe 10 minutes to reach. But I'm okay with that. There are lower crime rates here. I'm a city girl myself, but I'm also a Mom, and I have my son to raise. |
