The thing is, we don't want this to be a canon SW. Canon SW is well.. predictable. I still maintain that the films were from a Rebel POV, but that's just my opinion Smile

We'll want situations that may or may not have happened in canon SW. As long as its fun, and doesn't break the spirit of the SW universe, I think it will be good

Same with the Emperor idea. Grand Admirals have vast amount of authority which nearly have as much authority as the Emperor does. So it not difficult to have the leaders of MG to be second in command in relation to the NPC. No roleplaying the NPC or anything like that. Just that the role of the MG leader is clearly placed next to that of the leaders in the canon SW series.

..Which borders on (if not completely obliterates altogether) the line of administrative control over the game's storyline, something we didn't want to do, no?

Dont get me wrong, I think in a situation like this it might be beneficial to have an NPC Emperor/RA Chancell..Supreme Commander...whatever you want to call 'em. It keeps the players in line and cuts down on the potential for megalomaniacs in control over entire MGs, giving the HC of the given factions a real IC accountability. But do the players really want all of this?

Either way. It could work in theory, but I'd rather not become the reason we started this.

Well because I don't really like the name starting with "The" (as if it were the only syndicate in existance)... plus I'm too busy to really change everything to "TS", is there any ideas for something to go with HS?

I'm thinking High Syndicate or Hidden Syndicate.. other ideas?

The Hallu Syndicate, The Halbara Syndicate, We don't even have to go with crime, we could do a neutral government, The Hapan Sector, or what might be even better, some obscure sector, like the two others I've mentioned.

I've always found independant city (planet) states romantic.

I went through the CUSWE looking for H words, but I didn't find much. *shrug*

Most of these would probably be better suited for a smaller organization, so I'm not sure they'll work here. Some links are included below for reference.

Hapes I'm not too fond of (faction made up of former slave girls that consider men to be inferior, riight) though Hallu could work I guess.

Whats wrong with the Syndicate? Or just Syndicate, if you prefer it that way. Head Syndicate sounds kinda strange. If it´s because of the website, why not stick to Hutt Syndicate and make Rhade an Underboss (non Huttish) we would have a NPC Hutt Boss thats just there for show (Royalty).

One idea I had was Hyperspace Syndicate. However kinda sound funny but at least it sound Star Wars style.
