Do we want the events of ToD within our timeline? If so, how does it resolve? How would you want to resolve it? If not, what happens with it? Are characters minds wiped.. as it never existed?

for sake of continuity I'm not to sure. On one side I'd agree that they should be in corporated as people having taken it in the past.

On the other hand TOD never finished and nothing really happened in it.

Personally, I think we should just skip it. Mainly because of the fact that there are way too many loose ends concerning it.

Frankly, it doesn't much matter to me either way. Probably doesn't much matter to any member of the Old HS. Nothing really happened in our portion of the Sagacity scenario; just a hyperspace jump and a few rounds of ship maneuvering.

From one point of view, that means we have no reason to want for it to be included in the timeline. From another, we also have no messes left behind to clean up, so we don't have a reason to want it to be excluded.

For those keeping score at home, that basically means that this entire 3-paragraph message has no point whatsoever. Embarassed

I vote never happened...because then I really WOULD have to concoct a story about Nicolae faking his death.

Well, I told you what I had planned for us to do. But even though we most likely would've gained some assets from it, I'm also not that strongly attached to it either, since it limited our options a lot right from the start.

In short, I don't mind either way.Wink

Seeing how I think I took off, then my ship just disapeared where not even I knew where it was...

I say there's no reason for ToD to effect the game. It should just have never happened.

Forget the whole thing and be done with it. Took me over two moths to get added and then nothing happened (just like in many other scenarios, sadly).
Maybe there should be some kind of rudimentary penalty/reward system.
If I join a scenario as a player and fail to post after a while I will get a warning (or something) two of those will get me a rankreduction with my MG. If I finish two scenarios I will get two commendations that will get me a promotion with my MG.
This would be extra to "normal" MG rank adjustments. This could also be used for moderators simply as an indicator for players as how many scenarios has the moderator finished and how many were left incomplete.

Should we even get xp for what little we did in it?

If it never happened then nothing we did should count.

No XP will be removed retroactively, so no worries there. There is no rollback on the system anyway.

(I've been playing since the end of Age 2. Highest was in the top 100 during Age 3, but I ended around a couple hundred because I was trying to balance rankings to get a better score. Since then, I haven't played so much. Age 4 was in the top 1000. Now in Age 5, I've not had much time to really play.. you really need a good click-system to stay on-top. Right now, been floating around 1500)
