Ladies and Gents. It's with great pleasure that I announce the beginning of our first sim wide database affecting scenario. If the leaders of the two main factions (Empire and Alliance) could contact me I will be running this. No start date is set as I will be working with the leaders of the two factions to get a view of what they'd like to get people in order. But it will be very soon I would expect. Also if you are in no faction or in the process of switching factions worry not; there's always room for casualties. Wink

Also contact me by pm if you have an concerns you wish addressed.

I'd just like to note that this is planning only. There is no way we will actually have such a scenario without further rules. But we need to start somewhere, get ideas down for storylines and so forth. There are many things that need to be organized first.

I'm opening up this topic for discussion

Again, I'm still wondering why this is happening already since there was not much progress in rules and things because of the Holidays.

Maybe I'm a little bit more for organization and efficiency here, but I'm not sure this has really been throught through...

No this isn't thought about....and why should it. It's just harmless fun till we get all the rules and stuff sorted out. And I agree that you should remove the database affecting stuff from there as the only thing you can do is use the d20 rules....and not everybody has access to those.

So, will this be a database effecting or just role play for fun again? I'd like to see some rules myself before entering one where my character can die by, well, anything.

Well...I love how quick you are to accuse me of not thinking things through. Look it's optional, you don't have to go. It's database affecting, you can die, but only if you're really really really stupid. I'm just going to be using the WoTC rules unless we have something up by then (I will answer peoples questions on them). If you have complaints, don't play. This is not a WAR scenario, again you should not die or be harmed unless you're stupid. Which some may be.
