General - Dev chat!
First, I'd like to know if any of us have a preferred irc server for swcic stuff, most likely irc.swcic.net I'm thinking.

I'd like to have a talk about rules with everyone involved with rules first. And then maybe ask for some reforms. I'm not sure who does what, or who is who. But I'll try to pick up as much as I can. Right now I see some level of disorganization on rule data, and a lack of some things.

I don't really want to rant, or make any decisions, so that irc chat at some point would be nice. If anyone could possibly give me a day that works for them? I'm thinking tomarrow, today? Maybe next saturday? In any case, I want the entire rules team to get in contact with me. First objective, organize! Smile

First, Who put you in charge of anything....

Secondly there is no 'rules team' rather just a bunch of people interested in coming up with the rules for this game.

Thirdly not everybody is able to even show up due to timezones and other problems.

I'm not in charge of anything, I just want to help get rules stamped out. Something wrong with trying to help with making a game? Back when I was apart of SWS there was a problem with rules because nobody wanted to talk because there would be certain people who aggressively fought any new developments.

So in a way I'm used to people telling me what not to do, and what won't work. I'm not interested in bossing anyone around, I just want to see some stuff get completed. If that means having a talk with everyone so they get their say in what is currently implemented, and I learn what their ideas are; so be it. I'm sorry if trying to progress SWCIC seems offensive to you.

I'm not being offensive, I'm being informative. I've informed you that there are people already doing that.

What I see is a ship suggestion thread, and a bunch of force threads. Which is I feel is insufficient, there is alot missing there, and there needs to be more information written than what we have currently. I don't want to lead anything without knowing the deal with the current rules in place. It would be immature of me to make assumptions. I will admit that I sometimes might seem a little intimidating. Be aware that my intentions are innocent. I did write a ship database when SWS was still in development. And I can definitely write another one.

I have read the ship list already. Again, I need to redefine the mission statement for swcic. According to you it seems that there is no need for developing anything, as it's already developed.
