I was re-reading through some of the threads that were linked from the OOC news, and given the announcement of the first Database Effecting scenario and the related topics before it, I decided that this was a discussion yet to be had.
From my understanding, those within this group will at some point also be moderators. For this, I think that it is important that there be some structure to this team. It is only going to be chaose if people start jumping up to run off and start a scenario simply because it is in demand.
A good scenario has to have some thought put into it. Not just the storyline itself, but the possible outcomes and other things that might arise in it. There might be more people than you anticipated involved. THey might take an action that you didn't plan for them to take, etc. etc.
It also is of my opinion that the moderators should be as aware, if not more aware, of where the storyline is going and what it is than the players themselves, yes even the leaders of the group. That is with the exception if they are a moderator themselves. This prevents confusion of events that are taking place and have taken place.
I understand that people want to play the game already (myself included) as some of us have been waiting a very very very long time. But we just did pick up and move. There needs to be some patience while things have a chance to settle (i.e. Rules) There is a lot to be done and I think the people who came here want it enough that they can wait a little bit longer. And can even help out if they want it to be done in even less time.
A lot of this comes from my own experience of being tossed into a scenario with rules, assets, and what not that didn't really exist and the mods not really paying any attention to the order of events. Thus, I feel that our moderating team needs more attentive organization than it did back then.
P.S. Where are the IC forums anyway? lol

Click on the link at the top right that reads IC Site. That should take you to your character. In the same location on your character sheet, there should be a link that will take you to the IC boards.

Just passing through as an outside observer, ladies.
Anyway, in continueation of this post. I wanted to point out an idea.
I think that Cherokee back in SWS had the right idea, it just never got utilized correctly.
Registering of a Scenario, it could contain the same type of information.
Scearnio Name
Scenario Participants (groups and / or individuals)
Scenario Events: Basically, the story Arch. This is where the characters start. This is the main plot of the Scenario. And this is the possible outcomes and results of the Scenario
Any feedback here at all? *pokes the rest of you Mod types out there*

Maybe a "reward" for completing the scenario other than just XP but affect faction rather than individuals. Also what happens if the players failed, draw, succeed and overwhelmly succeed. I know it kinda hard to determine broadly but having a very challenging scenario like obtaining the technical data of the Death Star should rank as very hard and recruiting a contact on Tatooine should be easy (or hard if the planet is generally hostile to your faction).

Rewards for scenarios has been discussed. As for the Database affecting scen I will be running. I will be modding it myself. And I have more people in my weekly DnD game that I GM, than that are probably active in this sim at the moment. I am very organized, I have goals, I have anticipated peoples stupidity. I'm good at these things, that's why I said I'd do it. And if you want to be a mod and help that's fine. Hi, I'm the Mod/Scen Lead, what can I do for you?

Creed, I talked to Evaders and you are not the Moderation Team Lead.
Kooro. I think I understand what you are saying.
The thing is, if you have a battle for instance, or something where two sides are opposing each other, one side is going to fail in their objective. In the least, your reward will be XPs for the individuals who participated. At best, a group of characters might gain something for their faction be it ships, information, resources, etc.
