I wanted to get the players opinions on the current scenario. What do you think of it? How can we do better?
Given the complaints on waiting for moderation, I want to ask if you would like to have other moderators to help out? What is a realistic waiting period?
Thanxs everyone for the feedback |

There needs to be more than one moderator. It's only fair to them, and us as players. As for a realistic waiting time, a few days for most members to post, as for the moderation, I've not seen anyone have any problems getting the mod up in a couple of hours after the time limit has elapsed. 24 hours or more begins to be a problem especially for those who just missed the time limit because they were waiting on someone to post before they did.
As I said in the OOC thread, there needs to be more storytelling by the mod. One line moderations are as bad as a game master saying "You've entered a room" and leaving it at that. And up to the imagination of what the players see to the players. Any game master worth their salt, wouldn't do that and if they did, their game wouldn't last very long. |

I think that three days had been working at first, but whatever the period is it needs to be a fair enough time for players to post as well enough time, within reason, for the Moderator(s) to make their posts. But whatever the case, there should be some consistancy in communication be it a moderation, an LOA post or a notification on extensions of time, etc.
I also feel that for the sake of player interest and the general atmnosphere of the game and storytelling that the Moderations themselves could use a little more 'meat' than a single sentence. Of course that doesn't mean you have to describe every room on a spaceship or such things like that. |

I honestly don't like it.
There's so many people all posting their activites in one big thread.
I also more enjoy RP where we have a set goal in task. |

Overall, I think its going well. But updates need to be added, similar to what has been stated. If there is a delay or LOA, let everyone know. Real World issues pop up unexpectedly all the time. Just keep everyone informed if you will be late or have a delay.
And maybe split off some of the threads into more managable ones.
If help is needed for moderation, i'm around , but playing in one of them. |

Kliest, I agree. As they say shite happens. But it doesn't require anything but a minute or two to say something like 'sorry folks, something unexpected has come up IRL". |

I like the free form of it so far, makes you use your imagination alot more. I also like the set goals scenarios, makes it a little easier to give your character a sense of direction.
Hopefully people will make their way into the Charon Blvd. thread to enjoy the celebrations. This should help move the scenario along and start getting people goal oriented if they or their group desires. |

Jinx, the might and the might not. There is a definite direction in the Coruscant one for the Imperials, but for the rest there is a lot less direction for them. They are there because it needs to be a big thread.
Also, on reading it, I noted the inconsistancy that Draco is more or less just Roleplaying in Coruscant, while making the rest in the other thread take rounds, which get held up for longer than the posted time, when it is no less freeform there t han it is in the Coruscant thread.
That could very well become confusing when certain rules and what not start to get enforced. It is also going to leave others a bit more left out when the Mod is roleplaying in another thread while they have to wait for the gho ahead to post. It isn't to pick, just putting the consideration of everyone out on the table, not just those within one faction or one selective group, the future players that may come into the game and so on. |

Which is why I dislike Free-form.
When noone has a set goal, they don't know what to do and just muddle it up for anyone who actually has an idea of what to do. |
