A player may choose any class for his character. This represent a skill set focused on for a time being. A class have talents and feats that may shape the character's role. A character may have more than one class at a time over the course of his playing career.

Jedi is a class predominantly known to be able to use the Force. In the galaxy, the most common force users are often Jedi (just because you have the Jedi class, it doesn't mean you are of that Order, just a focused Force User)
